Leave the UK this morning on your outward flight to Hanoi.

Hanoi, Vietnam

Arrive into Hanoi today and enjoy a one-night stay at the Pan Pacific Hotel Hanoi before your cruise.

Day 3
Embarkation - Ha Long Bay

Transfer from your hotel this morning to Ha Long Bay, where you will embark your Pandaw vessel. Sail late this afternoon, and enjoy welcome cocktails.

Day 4
Ha Long Bay

Sail around Ha Long Bat this morning and discover its 1,500 dramatic limestone islands and extraordinary rock formations. Stop Viet Hai Village and explore on mountain bike or electric buggy, visiting the village’s vegetable farm and typical village houses.

This afternoon, continue cruising to Lan Ha Bay, to visit a floating fishing house. End today with cocktails at a beautiful Ha Long Bay beach - weather permitting.

Ha Long Bay - Dark and Bright Cave

Continue to explore Ha Long Bay today with a visit to the Dark and Bright Cave. Depart Ha Long Bay and enter the river to drop anchor near Hai Phong. This afternoon, the chef will share his skills in fruit carving and demonstrate how to create Vietnamese spring rolls.

Kinh Thay River

Meet your guide this morning, before discovering the the lively and interesting life of the Kinh Thay river. This afternoon, take an excursion to Thanh Ha Commune, with a village walk and a private water puppet show.

Bat Trang Village

Spend today cruising towards Hanoi, stopping at Bat Trang en route.

Hanoi, Vietnam

Today, we will drop anchor in the bustling capital city of Hanoi. Here you can visit the notorious Vietnam War prison known as the Hanoi Hilton, temple of literature where Confucius did his thinking, and the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. Enjoy an afternoon walking tour of the Old Quarter.

Lower Red River

This morning, sail throughout the day from Hanoi to Viet Tri. Go ashore and visit the Thay and Tay Phuong Pagodas and emerald green rice paddies. This afternoon, take an excursion to a carpenter village.

Lo River

Take in the sights and sounds of the village of Gia Thanh, famous for making 'Non La' conical hats.

Da River

Spend the day sailing the Da River, as you take in the beautiful sights and sub-tropical flora and fauna,  before arriving at Hoa Binh then visit the UNESCO-praised village of Duong Lam.

Take a boat ride this morning on the reservoir of the Hoa Binh power station, before visiting a local village.
