Depart the UK this morning for your journey to Vermenton, with a lunchtime stop in Reims.
There is no cruising today, as the canals are shut for Bastille Day. Instead, take the coach to the UNESCO-listed Basilica at Vézelay, before taking a short hop to the remote hilltop vineyard of La Croix Montjoie. Here you can head a little further into the Morvan Park before returning to Vermenton.
Today, cruise from Auxerre to Vermenton, cruising through the villages of Vaux, Champs sur Yonne, Bailly, Vincelles, Cravant and Accolay.
This morning, walk a nature trail from Vermenton to the viewpoint above the wine village of Irancy. Then, spend a free afternoon in Auxerre. In the evening, dine out at La Bersaudière in the village of Nitry, before returning through wooded country to Vermenton at twilight time.
Today you will cruise between Châtel-Censoir and Clamecy over a scenic route. There should be free time for you to explore the town of Clamecy before the coach returns you to Vermenton.
Today, the coach will take you for a gentle tour of nearby viewing and walking points.
For your final day of cruising today, board at Châtel-Censoir and cruise back to Vermenton.
Set out for home with a planned lunchtime break in Reims or Laon.
