As the name would suggest, Mekong Pandaw sails throughout Vietnam and Cambodia on the Mekong River. She travels on itineraries of varying lengths, along the stretch of water between Ho Chi Minh City and Siem Reap, giving guests the chance to explore magnificent temples and bustling marketplaces.
The cabins on board are in keeping with the colonial style of the ship and offer plenty of modern amenities. There’s more than enough storage space and features such as hair dryers, individual air conditioning and spa-branded amenities will make it easy to settle in straight away. Although built in 2003, the ship received a refit in 2013 which added stone showers to the bathrooms and improved the facilities throughout.
As well as the explorations you will take part in off the ship, local performers will also come aboard to help enrich your experience. The food on offer will further immerse you into south-east Asian culture (although western options are available too) and the scenery along the riverbank will provide a unique perspective of this part of the world. Finally, Mekong Pandaw’s innovative dining room design, which allows the walls to be retracted during the day and then put back again in the evening, means you won’t miss a second of the beautiful views.
