Kalay Pandaw is a small, yet spacious, vessel that is designed to carry just ten guests in luxurious surroundings. There is a 450 square feet Owner’s Suite on the top deck and then four more cabins on the lower deck that offer 180 square feet of space. The wrap-around promenades mean that you can walk all the way around both decks, admiring the views as you go.
When you are not exploring your latest port of call, you can unwind in the wicker furniture in the open-air lounge. Meals can also be enjoyed in this area, or you can choose to dine in the panoramic indoor dining area instead. Refreshments are offered as soon as you step back on board following your shore excursion and the crew will even clean your shoes for you if you wish. If you don’t want to join in with the pre-determined activities, there are mountain bikes available so you can explore at your own pace.
Just like Kalaw Pandaw, Kalay Pandaw has a smaller draft so that she can reach the shallower areas of Myanmar’s Irrawaddy and Chindwin rivers.
